Marc J.L. van Campen

Marc van Campen specializes in legal and tax aspects of pan European fund structuring and cross border private equity investments. His projects include the structuring of venture capital and private equity funds, advising fund managers on the optimization of their remuneration package, as well as structuring the investments of private equity funds. Clients include Mid Europa Partners, Baring Communications Equity, GMT Communications, AIG, Advent International, 3TS/3i.
Marc van Campen is coordinating the Italian practice, servicing Italian clients on their international tax implications of cross-border deals. Clients include Vodafone Omnitel, Diesel, De Agostini.
Marc van Campen started at Denton Hall Sollicitors London in 1992-1993, where he worked on international tax projects. Since 1994, he practiced national and international tax law at Houthoff Advocaten with a focus on venture capital investments structured through the Netherlands. Since June 1997, Marc van Campen is practicing at Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam in the international tax department, with a focus on pan European venture capital funds and venture capital transactions. Since March 2001 he is partner with Baker & McKenzie leading the international private equity and fund structuring practice in the Amsterdam office.
