Paolo Valerio Barbantini
Paolo Valerio Barbantini serves, since September 2004, the Italy Revenue Agency. He is head of the Large Business Division of the Revenue Agency. Until January 2009, he directed the International Tax Ruling Office (i. e. Italian APA program, including agreements on the tax treatment of cross-border income flows). He is member of the Italian delegation at the OECD Working Group 6 on transfer pricing and has been actively involved in the WP6 special sessions on transfer pricing aspects of business restructuring. Paolo Valerio was appointed expert in the intermediate/advanced workshops and seminars on transfer pricing held by the Intra European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA). Before joining the Italy Revenue Agency, Paolo Valerio worked in private practice. He received his degree in Economics from Rome University in 1995 and a Master degree in International Taxation in 1996.
