Ronald van den Brekel
Ronald van den Brekel is Chair of the Dutch Tax Administration’s Transfer Pricing coordination group since 2004. He has been working for the tax administration in the Netherlands for more than 20 years, as a tax inspector and tax auditor, IT-auditor, project manager and policy advisor for the Directorate of Large Enterprises.
Mr. Van den Brekel obtained a master’s degree in Fiscal Economics at the University of Tilburg as well as a postgraduate degree in Accountancy (University of Rotterdam) and in IT-auditing (Free University, Amsterdam). He is a registered CPA.
He is a member of the OECD Working Party 6 delegation since 2004, has acted as a lecturer at several OECD courses on auditing multinational enterprises and on transfer pricing. He has advised a number of countries on setting up their transfer pricing legislation and organisation.
Mr. Van den Brekel is an instructor at the International tax academy of the IBFD, lecturer at the LLM program of International Tax Center in Leiden, lecturer at PAOB, and an ad hoc lecturer at the university of Rotterdam. He is a regular speaker on seminars on transfer pricing. In 2008, he was a member of the UN ad-hoc expert group meeting on transfer pricing.
